HOW WE CARE FOR OUR PEOPLE

1. Deacon Ministry

Battleground Community Church is served by a team of Deacons who are responsible as team leaders in various areas of ministry. The Deacons involve others in carrying out those servant responsibilities so that the Pastors/Elders can devote themselves to prayer and the ministry of the Word. Areas of ministry include: Hospital visitation, home-bound visitation, oversight for the James 127 fund, which is money that is distributed to our people in need. Additionally, Deacons serve us by administering the ordinances of Communion and Baptism, and most importantly, they are active members of our Growth Groups.
