3 Circles Evangelism Method https://www.bcconline.org/announcements/post/3-circles-evangelism-resources https://www.bcconline.org/announcements/post/3-circles-evangelism-resources#comments Thu, 17 Aug 2023 11:00:00 -0400 https://www.bcconline.org/announcements/post/3-circles-evangelism-resources

3 Circles Evangelism Method

3 Circles is designed to help Christians share their faith by incorporating a tool called 3 circles evangelism. This tool provides a method of turning everyday conversations about brokenness into everyday conversations about Christ. The goal of "3 Circles" is to equip Christians to share their faith with non-Christians.

Overview Of 3 Circles

This tool helps Christians to share the gospel using three simple circles. These represent
(1) God's Design
(2) Brokenness
(3) The Gospel

They also illustrate how accepting and submitting to Jesus will grow faith and lead to God's perfect design.

"3 Circles" is something that people easily understand. All you need to have is a pen and paper, or napkin, or hand! The method provides quick answers to common questions of faith:
- What was God's design?
- How did we depart from God's design through sin?
- Can anyone escape brokennessand what does brokenness feel like?

Additional 3 Circles Resources:
The Life On Mission Phone App
Don't have a pen or paper? The Life on Mission Phone App provides an effective way to share the gospel with someone using simple tools, like 3 Circles or Best News, to make the most out of every opportunity. Share your faith on the go! Download the Life on Mission app Available in English & Spanish

3 Circles Trainer And Trainee Manuals
Grow and help others in your/their confidence in sharing the gospel. Click the links below for the free Trainer and Trainee Manuals on the 3 Circles evangelism method.

Campaign Extra Plain

BCC,

We hope you are as excited as we are to begin this journey of renovating our building by faith. We are calling this season, "Forward By Faith."

We prayerfully always desire to follow God's Word in all areas of life and ministry, and this includes the way we handle our renovation plans and pledges. Following the clear example we find in Scripture, we have announced the total amount of pledges that our leaders have made by faith for the renovation of our building.

We have called you to a season of prayer as you follow the example of our leaders by making your pledges as well. In regards to your pledges, think about them in three ways. First, think about how much you can give now. Secondly, think about how much you can give over the next three years. And third, please sign your pledge cards, knowing that all pledge cards will be held in strict confidence.

Please mark your calendars. Next Sunday, July 31st, at 5:00pm, we will be having a churchwide ice cream celebration, where we will have a time of fellowship and celebration for what God is doing among us, and what He has provided through us for the renovation of our building.

Thank you for your faithfulness and prayerful generosity as we move forward by faith. If you have any questions or concerns, please
contact Pastor Stephen or Pastor Micah by clicking here.

In Christ,

Over the past 2 1/2 years, Pastor Micah from Battleground, Pastor Chad from Parkwood Baptist Church, and a few other songwriters from Parkwood Worship have been writing brand new worship songs for our local churches. These songs were birthed through life and ministry within our local congregations and have been written to both edify our churches and to point to the beauty and glory of Jesus Christ. We pray that this collection of songs will be a theologically rich and gospel saturated encouragement to you and your family, and that you will join us in singing Our Song Forever throughout your life.

Our Song Forever, is available at Parkwood Worship's Website, ITunes, or wherever you stream your music!

Wednesday Night EQUIP https://www.bcconline.org/announcements/post/wednesday-night-equip https://www.bcconline.org/announcements/post/wednesday-night-equip#comments Tue, 17 Mar 2020 12:00:00 -0400 https://www.bcconline.org/announcements/post/wednesday-night-equip

Join us on Wednesday, January 8th, at 6:30pm, as we continue to dive into the Bible and grow in our knowledge and study of the Word of God. We are excited to announce that we are offering two different classes that are focused on helping you grow in how to study the Bible correctly and on helping you to grow in deeper fellowship and knowledge of who God is. Check out these new classes below, that are available for everyone:

Hermeneutics EQUIP: Studying Through The Book Of Acts

The first class, that is opened to everyone in the church, is a year long hermeneutical study through the book of Acts, which will be led by Pastor Micah.

We believe it is crucial that you understand how to study the Bible correctly for yourself, and to grasp what the original author meant for you to see in Scripture. With this said, what is better than helping you learn this very important skill than to study alongside of you through an entire book of the Bible? On Wednesday Nights, at 6:30pm, join us as we meet in the Kids worship area at BCC, for an EQUIP time where you will have hands on training and study on how to read and study through the book of Acts for yourself. For more information or to signup for this Hermeneutic EQUIP through the book of Acts, please contact Pastor Micah at micah@bcconline.org.

Bible Doctrine – Essential Teachings of the Christian Faith

The second class, that has limited space for those who are interested, is a year long study through the doctrines and truths of our faith, which will be led by Pastor Stephen.

We believe that as followers of Jesus Christ, God calls us to long for spiritual milk that will grow us up into a more full understanding of who God is and our salvation. Simply put, the more you know about God, the more you will grow in your love relationship and worship of Him. This class, which meets on Wednesday Nights, at 6:30pm, in the K-2nd Kids classroom, is for those who want to gain a deeper understanding of the doctrines and truths that are revealed in Scripture. Whether you are new to the faith or have been in church most of your life, you can grow in your knowledge of the Word of God by being a part of this class. Each person will individually read from Wayne Grudem’s book entitled Bible DoctrineAgain, this class has a limited amount of space, so if you are interested in joining the Doctrine class or would like more information, please contact Pastor Stephen at stephen@bcconline.org today.

"Imagine if every member of your church could give a name of a person - a person for whom they're praying and with whom they're sharing the gospel. How would it change your church? How would it change the world?" - J.D Greear

Starting this Sunday, September 8th, BCC will be launching an evangelistic effort called "Who's Your One?" This effort is designed to mobilize every member of Battleground Community Church to identify one person in his or her relational network to pray for and share the gospel with in 2019-2020.

BCC Ministry Assessment https://www.bcconline.org/announcements/post/bcc-ministry-assessment https://www.bcconline.org/announcements/post/bcc-ministry-assessment#comments Wed, 11 Sep 2019 17:00:00 -0400 https://www.bcconline.org/announcements/post/bcc-ministry-assessment

As a local church in Kings Mountain, we desire to reach our local community in both Word and Deed. However, we desire to do this strategically, biblically, and intentionally. The first step in us fulfilling this purpose involves us having a self-assessment and conversation about our own church and community.

Accordingly, on Friday, October 4th, at 5:30pm, join us for an exciting time at BCC, as we come together as a church to discover our individual and collective gifts, resources, and opportunities so that we can reach our local community effectively.

We will have pizza for everyone at 5:30pm and our Ministry Discussion will take place after dinner. Don’t miss this huge ministry step for us as a congregation!

For more information about this ministry assessment, please contact Pastor Stephen by clicking here.
