Wednesday Night EQUIP Year 2

Starting on Wednesday, August 12th, at 6:30pm, join us for year 2 of Wednesday Night EQUIP where we will continue to dive into the Bible to grow in our knowledge and study of the Word of God and learn how to apply it to our lives. Below you will find all of the information for both of our classes, which are designed to help you grow in how to study the Bible correctly and to help you grow in your understanding of Scripture and how to live it out in your everyday life.

Hermeneutics: How To Interpret The Bible

We believe it is crucial that you understand how to study the Bible correctly for yourself and to grasp what the original Author meant for you to see in Scripture. With this said, our Hermeneutics class is a three year class that is designed to help guide you through every major style of writing that is found is Scripture and to give you the tools to correctly interpret the Bible in its original context. This class meets on Wednesday Nights at 6:30pm in the Fellowship area at BCC. Join us for an EQUIP time where you will have hands-on training on how to read and study through various styles of writing in the Bible. For more information or to signup for the Hermeneutics class, please contact Pastor Micah at micah@bcconline.org.

Main Point:
The purpose of the Hermeneutic EQUIP is to train all believers how to correctly interpret and apply the original meaning of Scripture by working through every major style of writing within the Bible.

Three Year Plan:
In a three year cycle, the class will be working through various books of the Bible that represent every major style of writing we see in Scripture. After the three year cycle, the individual will be equipped to correctly interpret and apply the original meaning of a Passage from every major style of writing.

Theology For Life: Knowing And Living What We Believe

Is it possible to read a story and even enjoy it but simply miss the point? When it comes to the Bible we can often see it as a book with a group of isolated stories that we enjoy, yet, we miss how the teachings we find in the stories actually apply to us. That our understanding about who God is, what Jesus has done for us, and how we are now called to live through Jesus should actually look in our day to day lives. What we need is theology for life; an understanding of what we believe and how our beliefs connect with how we live! Join us on Wednesday Nights at 6:30pm in the older Kids classroom for a three year study on building a comprehensive theology for our life. For more information or to signup for the Theology For Life class, please contact Pastor Stephen at stephen@bcconline.org.

Three Year Plan:
In a three year cycle, the class will first build a framework to understand all of Scripture. Secondly, we will build onto that framework by understanding how our beliefs connect together. And finally, we will put our theology to work by understanding how we see and live out God's outlook in all of life.
